This layered drink looks so refreshing and festive and is a perfect adult drink for a July 4th party or picnic! The drink is fairly sweet because of the grenadine and blue curacao, so for the best results, we recommend a slightly tart or unsweetened lemonade.

Red, White & Booze

A festive adult drink for a July 4th party or picnic!

Ingredients

1 oz. Grenadine
3 oz. Lemonade (unsweetened)
1 oz. White Rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 c. Ice
1 Pear
2-4 Blueberries
1 Strawberry

Instructions

Pour the grenadine in the bottom of a tall glass.
Add the ice on top of the grenadine. In a shaker, combine the rum and lemonade and shake well.
To layer the colors, pour the rum and lemonade mixture slowly over a large spoon placed on top of the ice.
Add the blue curacao over a spoon for the top layer.
Garnish with a star cut from a pear slice, a couple of blueberries and a strawberry.
