Santa Sauce

Ingredients

Cranberry Juice
(use unsweetened if you like your sauce less sweet!)

Apple Cider

Aged Rum
(we used Cruzan Aged Dark Rum)

Whole Cloves

Bay Leaf
2
Cinnamon Sticks
1/4

Cardamom
1/4
tsp
Coriander

Star Anise Pods

Ginger
(peeled and cut in half)
1/2
Orange
(sliced)
Instructions
Add cranberry juice and apple cider to a
saucepan
and warm.
Add cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, coriander, star anise, ginger and orange slices.
Cover and simmer on low up to 45 minutes.
Just before serving, add the rum and stir until just warm.
Strain
into
mugs
and serve while warm.
